Good morning campers.
The Blue Jays won!
Twitterers take notice, @intomobile is holding a contest to give away 3 iPhone 3GS models. And because I’m a good guy and I want everyone to have a chance to win something awesome I’ll tell you how it works. Login to your Twitter and send a msg to @intomobile telling them quickly why you deserve to win one of the phones. Remember who told you about this and sing my praises if you win.
The weather men/ women all over the city are calling for rain today. And judging by the sky I think I believe them. It’s still close to 20 degrees Celsius outside, and they say that it’s going to stay that warm while the rain is coming down.
Happy birthday to Mrs. E-ve’s grandma. There’s a picnic and festivities planned for tomorrow, please join in me in sending best wishes.
In sad news Heath and I won’t be moving in together in the fall. The uber short timeline that we had to follow has come and gone. We all wish him safe travels to Switzerland for the rest of his summer and can’t wait until he’s home again so everyone can hang out like we like to do.
I watched part of How I Met Your Mother season 1 last night while I was trying to go to sleep and was reminded once again of why I fell in love with the series to begin with. Barney was gangbusters with the jokes right out of the gate and everything went from there. Ted does look better now with a little bit longer hair than he did when things kicked off, but that’s just nit picking.
Side note: We still love Barney so much that his blog is attached to ours, see the left side bar and take a look.
Hockey season may be over, but that certainly doesn’t mean that Canadians have stopped caring about what’s going on in the world of the NHL. In fact, Sportsnet has already replaced its’ regular NHL section to an NHL Free Agent Tracker. To put this into perspective, the Stanley Cup Finals ended last Friday, 5 days ago. We Canadians must really love hockey.
No Doubt played the Air Canada Centre last night and by all accounts Gwen and the gang put on a great show. People were pretty hyped about the concert and the reunion tour. I guess now we wait to see if they put out a new album together, and if it can measure up to Tragic Kingdom.
There was a dude in the store yesterday that told us that he’s pushing 70, and let me tell you something, I can only hope to look that good if and when I get to be that old. And he was sharp and funny and interesting. He could be the real life Dos Equis guy.
Warning: Romeo’s birthday is now only 7 days away. That is one week people. I have tried to warn you and prepare you all the best that I can. Be careful with what you buy for him drink wise. Make sure that when you are near him his pants are done up, it’s everyone’s responsibility to keep his clothes on. Anyone encouraging him to take his clothes off will be responsible for taking care of him for the rest of the night. And you can ask Jake, this is not a job that you do not want to be volunteering for.
Quick fire… we haven’t done this for a while.
-The Jonas Brothers are hosting the MMVA’s on Sunday night. If you plan on being there I hope you already have a wrist band.
