Monday Musings, 1st Of June Edition

Good afternoon party people.

I'm aware that it's Monday so there probably aren't many parties going on, but I'm on coffee number 2 (extra large, black/ 2 sugar) in the last 3 hours or so and I'm ready to go.

Big thanks to E-ve for the ideas and such with regards to the new apartment hunt. Here's hoping for a table to play Scrabble on.

Other criteria I'd like to follow: 2 bedroom, living room space, dining room space or eat in kitchen, bigger washroom, balcony, outlets all over the place, close to main transit routes, etc. I may be willing, or forced, to give up a few little things, but fingers are crossed.

Disappointed with the hockey and baseball game results yesterday. Was hoping for a Blue Jays win and a sweep of the Red Sox, but that didn't happen. Was also hoping to see the Penguins bounce back and steal home ice advantage from the Red Wings. But alas, they did not.

Side note: After writing that last section I noticed that I was cheering against pretty much anyone with Red in their name. Just a coincidence.

Punisher (the Tom Jane flick) was on Showcase Action last night. I flipped to it for a few minutes, but didn't really get into it. I did laugh to myself when I saw former WWE star Kevin Nash in a sailor inspired red and white striped t-shirt.

I did end my evening rather enjoyably with Veronica Mars in the DVD player and a Green Arrow comic in my hands. Good times.

I was jealous of and craved the good looking, healthier than most, cupcakes that E-ve madeast night. The picture I got made me a hungry boy. Mmm, cupcakes.

Side note: The only thing chez Wally that gets made with the word cake in it is a pancake.

Coming to you mobile today while at work because of a computers for personal use crack down.

The sun has decided to shine for now, but I am prepared for more rain to come today. I have my bright red rain jacket with me. It's also chillier than seasonal temperatures call for.

UP! Was tops at the box office over the weekend pulling in a reported $68.2 million. Not bad for a cartoon release before school's out for summer. Night At The Museum 2 came in a distant second earning $25.5 million.

I think that's all for today my friends. I hope that week starts well your each and every one of you.

Like wham!
