Welcome to Tuesday, please make yourself comfortable.
Hot news from Britain as super reality sensation Susan Boyle has been checked into a mental facility for reported exhaustion. Meh.
Sometimes I wonder about myself. Not in a depressed, angry kinda way, more in general. I wonder what kind of person I am in stereotyped terms. Am I a sports jock because I participated in athletics for 20 years or so at the start if my life and am perfectly willing to sit and watch a game, any game on the TV or live pretty much whenever I have the chance. Or am I a comic geek because I started picking them up a couple years ago and now I love super heroes and cartoon movies and trades and action figures and comic books and all the rest. Might I be a hopeless romantic because of the movies I own and enjoy like “Love, Actually”, “27 Dresses”, “Definitely, Maybe” and on and on and on. Maybe I’m just a guy that craves a happy childhood because of the Disney movies I’ve got on the shelf and my penchant for watching the Family Channel when something other that “Cory in the House” or “That’s so Raven” is on. I have no idea. Is it possible to be more than one of these things? Is it okay to be all of them? Is it healthy?
Big thanks to E-ve for surprising me last night at work and accompanying me to dinner at The Mandarin. I “guppied” myself a little bit and went home with a full tummy and a tired body. The food was pretty alright, I had a bunch of Shrimp, Calamari, Roast Beef, Rice, Noodles, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Waffles and Cake.
Also, huge thank you to E-ve for bringing a half dozen of those awesome looking cupcakes to me. I haven’t had a chance to try them yet (because I was so stuffed last night) but they are in the fridge in the plastic container and ready to be devoured tonight I’m sure.
Game three between the Pens and Wings goes tonight from the Igloo in Pittsburgh. I would like to tell you that I believe the Penguins can win this game at home and start to turn things around, but it’s tough.
The Jays are back in action tonight as well as they start a series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Good luck to the good guys.
Approx. 3 weeks until Romeo’s birthday and the wild and crazy antics that will come with it. Please, if you plan on attending do not bring with you handcuffs, fire crackers, or intentions of buying any shot Tabasco related. Gifts and best wishes will be welcome.
High fives all around just because I’m in that kind of mood.
Adios for now.
