Good day one and all, I hope that your Monday has started on the right foot. I'm here again, at work, but today I'm on the BB to post. HBO's In Treatment is on the pc beside me. It's a pretty intense look at the life of a therapist and his patients. I haven't been paying attention as closely as my co-workers but they are really into it. Maybe I'll make myself watch it on TMN.
Good luck to E-ve at Boot Camp tonight. Not Army Boot Camp, she isn't shaving her head and going G.I. Jane on us. Kick some behind. We wrote a ton yesterday. There was the post here and 2 others at www.myspace.com/wallyzblogger, it was fun, we enjoyed it, and we hope to keep it up.
Thanks again to everyone that helped out E-ve and Mrs. E-ve’s Mom yesterday. We all appreciate your efforts.
I have a training session tomorrow to make me a better employee. Here’s hoping that I get out early so that E-ve and I can spend some time together.
Congrats to the folks at Disney/ Pixar as they have captured the number 1 spot at the box office for the second week in a row. UP! managed to edge out new comedy The Hangover despite the fact that it was supposed to be the biggest thing coming this weekend.
The plan is to hit the Jays game this Friday with the gentlemen from work. It should be a good time if all goes as planned. Roy Halladay is scheduled to start after getting the job done yesterday. But, before they come home for interleague play they have a 4 game series in Texas against the Rangers. We really need to win at least 2 if not 3 of these games. Our home record is good, very good in fact. Our road record however leaves something to be desired. We go into this mini-trip with a road record of 11-17, it needs to be better. Cheer hard mes amis. I’ll be cheering hard on Friday.
Side note: It will be Flashback Friday at Rogers Centre, my second of the year. This week brings us former Blue Jays pitcher Balor Moore. Personally, I’ve never heard of this guy. And I love me some Blue Jays history and such. If you have any Balor Moore stories I’d love to hear them. They don’t ever have to be good. Just stories.
Not a big TV night for me tonight. With Chuck, Heroes, House, How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory all on vacation I’m pretty much stuck with re-runs and sports.

I wish that somebody would pick up Chuck in syndication. It would mean more money for NBC and the studio which would probably mean more money in the budget for the show moving forward which would probably mean more episodes ordered right now. And in the end, that’s exactly what I want. I’m not sure who would pick up the show. City TV holds the rights here in Canada, so that means that SPACE could run it. But maybe a Showcase or something could pick it up and run with it once a week. It would be almost a year and then there would be new episodes to throw into the rotation. Or hell, why not MuchMusic? They ran The O.C. now they have One Tree Hill, neither of those shows has anything to do with music… neither does Chuck, perfect match!
Kobe didn’t have a huge Doomsday type game last night against the Magic. In fact, the game went to overtime and was a heck of a thing to watch. For a few minutes I was thinking about tagging Rashard Lewis with the nickname Jimmy Olsen because of the way he was being such a good pal to Dwight Howard/ Superman.
Thank you to Subway Restaurants for being close to my work.
I think that’s it for today friends and others. Enjoy your day, your evening and your night.
Show ‘em what you’re made of E-ve.
Like wham!
