Good morning world.
It’s Monday, I’m here, you’re there and everyone is getting on with their day.
It’s a work day for everyone. E-ve’s at the restaurant, Jake served breakfast I’m sure, Romeo is doing his thing and the rest of the world is doing theirs.
The NBA season ended last night as Kobe and the Lakers were able to keep the sharp shooters in Orlando cold. Mr. Bryant was named Finals MVP and given the newly named Bill Russell Trophy. Because he ended up averaging over 32 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists over the 5 games I am willing to push for the Doomsday nickname.
Side note: Later today I plan on emailing some people in the sports writing world to see what their reaction is. I’ll also be probably the 1,000,000th person to visit Kobe’s MySpace page to congratulate him and also re-pitch the name.
Big thanks to E-ve for showing up yesterday with trail mix and Powerade that got me through the end of my shift. And, for coming with me to the grocery store where we got some awesome sandwich stuff including sweat mix pickles. The sandwiches were awesome, the company was enjoyable and all in all I’d call it a good night.
Chance are that this is going to be posted late because the roaming manager is supposed to be coming in and he and I already have our issues, no need to add to them.
There’s a huge sign on the back of a truck outside the store. It’s for a new tea shop down the street. I’m kinda interested to see how they move it over and put it up. It’s one of those things that I’m sure my friends and I would manage to break badly.
The day is going by slowly and there’s a chance that we’re going to have to watch a movie later to pass the time. I don’t know which movie we’ll watch, but it will get figured out.
It’s also pay day, and not a moment too soon.
