Happy St. Patrick’s Day y’all!
I hope that everyone has visions of green beer, shamrocks and pots of gold in their pretty little heads.
But remember, if you’re going out to enjoy a pint of Guiness or your favourite tinted delight, please don’t drive. The R.I.D.E. program will probably be out in full force, and I really don’t want to have a blurb to write about a ton of ppl getting busted or hurt or killed.
I’m getting excited about the NCAA’s, I can’t help it. Even E-ve asked me about it this morning. And then I handed her the bracket and asked her to make her picks. We didn’t have time to go through the whole thing, but she did pick out USC and Illinois. I didn’t. We’ll see what happens. If she picks more winners than I do I may never get excited in March again.
Let’s see, what else is going on?
I saw Cabbie’s man D on the street yesterday. He had his trademark Boston Red Sox cap on and walked with his eyes focused on the sidewalk. I guess he doesn’t want guys like me recognizing him as he walks along Yonge St.
Looks like Apple has an application for iPhone that now can help you with those awkward blind date situations. “Fake Calls” is a 99 cent app that you can program to call you with a false name, picture, wallpaper and ring tone. You can program the time of the call and if you ignore the call, “Fake Call” will ring you again making it sound even more urgent. Just another example of iPhone replacing your best friend.
Rollingstone.com has a link to the Top 500 Songs of All Time. Taking a quick look at the top end of the list it’s hard to argue, but everyone has their preferences. Take a look and see what you think. You can leave a comment here, there or anywhere really.
Yesterday was Monday of course which meant that Chuck was on and I was watching. Special guest appearance by John Larroquette playing the smoothest martini drinking spy since you know who. I enjoyed it, Chuck and Sarah finally got their big huge kiss that’s been building up, although not as planned of course. And huge ending with future ramifications for sure. Sad faces for Chuck.
I also caught How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory which were pretty alright. I did miss House, but I’ll catch it on demand or something later.
Tuesday means new TMN movies on demand and a chance for me to check them tonight and decide if this thing is paying for itself month to month.
I think that’s all for today friends. Good luck with your brackets. First tip off is 7:30pm eastern standard time tonight.
Happy St. Pat’s.
