Good morning ladies and gents.
It's a lovely day in the big smoke (which is quickly becoming the big stink) with the sun shining, a breeze blowing and a humidex reading of about 42%. The adjusted temperature reads somewhere around 30 degrees Celsius and we're going out for the day.
Decided that today was a good day to rock the throw back Neon Deon Sanders jersey from the Dallas Cowboys days. I have huge number 21s on my front and back and I love it. Here's hoping it doesn't get too hot as the day goes on.
E-ve and I are going to do some downtown wandering around today as we're both lucky enough to have the day off. No real plans, but shopping is always a possibility on Queen St. Maybe I can talk her into visiting the Comic Book shop with me.
It's a lovely day for a patio and a pint so that may need to be worked into the plan somewhere along the way.
Just street car-ing past the hotel that Jake and Romeo and I stayed at over the May long weekend. Those were good time. Miss ya Musketeers.
Punch Buggy Blue, no punch backs!
I never thought I'd say this. But I am a little jealous of the folks that got to see KISS at the Ottawa Blues Festival last night.
I put RENT! on the DVD player last night before I went to sleep and as I was fading away I caught myself wondering which character I'd like to play if the planets aligned and I ended up with the acting and singing ability as well as the opportunity. But I fell asleep before I could figure it out.
I have an itch to shop for vintage type t-shirts.
Here I am in the middle of the financial district of Toronto, surrounded by people in suits and skirts, and I've got flip flops, khaki cargo shorts, my Neon Deon and a yellow ball cap. I don't fit in.
Signing off now as I stand in line at Starbucks. Ciao my friends.
Like wham!
