Good morning ladies and gentlemen.
We come to you today from an alternate location. It’s still work, but not the regular spot. I’m not sure how it’s going to go. So far so good, but there are still 8 hours to go.
Great couple of days with E-ve as we had our weekend early. The Canadian Masters of Comedy show on Thursday night was fantastic and very funny. At one point I felt my stomach hurting a little from laughing so much. Our host, the highly hilarious Debra DiGiovanni made a joke at our expense as we sat in the very front of the stage, but it was taken well and the laughs just kept on coming.
Side note: Big ups to Debra, our MySpace friend and great comedienne.
Happy anniversary to Jake and Mrs. Jake. The wish is a little late, but it’s the thought that counts.
High five to E-ve for a great entertainment purchase last night. Toy Story is one of the most celebrated animated features of all time. And even after not seeing it for many years, and being much older now that I was when it came out in theatres, I still enjoyed it. I laughed along, knew many of the words, and still can’t argue with the praise that it has received.
After Toy Story we put on RENT! And had a little sing along as I drifted off to sleep. Always a good time.
The sun is shining so far this morning, there is a breeze and very low humidity. The weather folks are calling it unseasonably cool. And they talk like it’s a bad thing. I have no problem with 15 degrees Celsius when I leave the apartment at 8 am. I have no problem with 23 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. I don’t understand the people that are complaining that it isn’t 32 degrees Celsius plus humidity. You guys are crazy!
The bad news Blue Jays dropped another game last night. This time to the Red Sox at Rogers Centre. It doesn’t make me happy, it makes me a little sad in fact. I hope that some day we’ll be winners again. I never want to look back to see that the Blue Jays have become the Cubs or what the Red Sox were before 2004.
Side note: The realization was made the other day in the mid afternoon sunshine and humidity that pants are for suckers. I actually thought to myself that Romeo had it right all along. And that thought scared me.
On that note I think we say good-bye for now. Have a great day everyone, Happy Saturday!
Like wham!
