Good morning friends, it’s Monday, Monday, Monday!
On the way to work this morning I was thinking about the fact that it’s my Wednesday… hump day… and that lead my weird mind to it being my hump day, and then for a few awful minutes I had Fergie’s “My Humps” stuck in my head. Arg.
Picked up James Bond, Quantum of Solace off of the previously viewed shelf at Blockbuster yesterday but haven’t popped it into the DVD player yet. They are having a buy 2 get one free sale on all previously viewed DVDs. Same as every other buy 2 get one free promo in the world, the cheapest one is always free… but it’s not a bad deal.
Side note: I did shake my head and scold myself a little when I saw Fanboys on the shelf for $5 less than what I paid for at Future Shop.
Side note II: Other movies on the shelf: Eagle Eye, Mama Mia, He’s Just Not That Into You, Bride Wars, The Comebacks, etc.
Congratulations to Aaron Hill and Roy Halladay of the Toronto Blue Jays as they have been named to the American League All-Star team. Hill was picked as the most deserving 2nd baseman in the league by his fellow players. A third Blue Jay, Adam Lind, has a chance to go the game as well. There is a final vote with 5 players in the mix for the 33rd and final spot on the roster. So far this morning I voted approx. 50 times for Lind at www.mlb.com
Thank you’s to E-ve for coming for a visit last night and bringing Jello cherry cheesecake pudding cups with her. They were fantastic and I ate the last one after she went home. Mmm
It looks like we’ve got contractors in the store right now who may be making some small, or maybe large, changes to the set up in here. I’m not looking forward to sawdust and such, but change isn’t always bad I suppose.
This just in… it may be my Wednesday, but it doesn’t mean that I’m going to be off on my Saturday.
I’m thinking more and more about a hair cut.
I’m also thinking about taking things to a Dry Cleaner for the first time. I have some shirts and pants that could use a heavy duty sprucing up.
I went back to coffee this morning and it was not a bad decision. The start to the day is significantly earlier than yesterday's was. The only problem is that coffee number 1 is now finished.
