Good afternoon friends.
It was pointed out to us that we've been lazy and absent over the last couple of days. Apologies to everyone.
Here's hoping that Canada Day was a blast for all of our fellow Canadians. And we also hope that our American friends enjoy the 4th of July weekend.
E-ve got home from Ottawa last night by bus which put a big smile on faces. It's always great to see her when she gets back because of that whole missing her thing. Xoxo.
Enjoyed the Canada Day baseball game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Toronto Blue Jays. I'd tell you all about it, but I read the back of my ticket and it turns out that it would be illegal to write a whole bunch. I will tell you that we won 5-0, Rod Barajas, Adam Lind and Scott Rolen all hit home runs and Ricky Romero was awesome on the mound. Let's keep that between us though.
Currently out shopping with a friend from Ottawa and then getting E-ve time which brings more smiles.
Editors note: E-ve and I have decided to take a look at the local Blockbuster to see what's available. Fingers are crossed for Fanboys, but expectations are low. Snacks are also on the agenda. Mmm.
I'm sadly disappointed with the selection of boys stuff at these stores. There are a billion pieces for girls and about a dozen for guys. There are tables of shirts starting at $2.50 for chicks and the cheapest thing for dudes is a plain t-shirt 5x that much.
Side note: I haven't found, tried on or purchased anything today.
Editors note: I have since found a pair of skinny suspenders that I have claimed and paid for. There were some other options too. But nothing outstanding that can't be found elsewhere later.
Also enjoyed lunch at the Pickle Barrel for the first time. Was good. Tummy is full. Bill was cheap.
Editors note: While it was the first lunch at Pickle Barrel it was not my first visit as E-ve reminded me of dinner we had a few months ago. My bad.
I think that's it for today. The mission continues.
Like wham!
