Friday Morning Musings, Day Off Vodka Edition

Good day my fellow interwebbers.

It's the early afternoon and I'm writing today from the comfort of my bed. Day 2 of the weekend has started well enough. Sad to see E-ve go, but glad she'll be back.

We'll go with a bunch of quick fire mumbo jumbo today since we're on the BB.

The vodka was good last night.

The Sambuca with fruit in the cup was also awesome. Pour the Sambuca in a cup (you'll need more than one ounce) and drop in some fresh fruit. We used strawberries, blueberries and pineapple. Let the fruit sit in the cup for a few minutes and maybe stir it around a little bit. Then when you need some fruit you can scoop it out and have a snack. The first bite tastes a lot like booze, and then after that it's fruit taste galore.

Dinner was also great as the Pizza Hut pasta came through in a big way. No complaints at all.

Fingers are crossed for a resolution to the city strike as the fridge needs to be cleaned out.

The Blue Jays have fallen below .500 for the first time this season. Impressed I am not, ready to throw in the towel... It's getting close.

I am encouraged by the outright release of BJ Ryan. And now I wonder what other changes are on the way.

Big Raptors news as the 4 team trade that brought us Hedu Turkoglu was completed. We also get Devean George and Antoine Wright while saving the cap space that should net us Carlos Delfino.

I'm also happy with the 5 year contract extension given to Andrea Bargnani this week. The big Italian should continue to grow as a player here.

In non-sporting news, the guy who wants to be Batman that I see everywhere apparently lives on my street. Le sigh.

Huge congrats to our buddy in Ottawa as his game, Madballs in Babo: Invasion has had its' release date set for July 15th on Xbox Live Arcade! Well done dude!

I think that's it for now. Peace out.

Like wham!
