Wednesday Morning Musings, Adam Lind Went Off Edition

Good morning everyone!

I hope that everyone is alive and kicking.

Rent is due tomorrow and I’m happy to report that it’s not going to break me. Go team!

High fives to E-ve on her way to a hair appt. today. It’s gonna be awesome.

It’s friggin’ chilly here in Toronto. When I woke up this morning and checked the temperature it was 6 degrees and they are saying that it’s only going to hit about 12 today. Holy cow eh!

There’s a trip to Wal-mart in the cards for me tomorrow. I need to pick up sheets that will fit the new bed and see what other things they’ve got on their shelves that I think I need.

Tomorrow is the first day of October and that’s crazy talk! I can’t believe that 9 months of the year are now finished.

High fives to Adam Lind of the Blue Jays who hit 3 home runs last night at Fenway Park in Boston. The Blue Jays are the hottest team in baseball right now, and it doesn’t matter one little bit.

Sons of Anarchy is playing on the computer beside me. It’s a pretty solid show from the FX network. I’m impressed with the way it’s written and acted. This isn’t a show for the light hearted or easy to offend, so consider yourself warned.

A Toronto legend called it a career today. Mats Sundin, former captain of this town’s beloved Maple Leafs held a news conference in Sweden this morning to tell the world that he was done playing pro hockey. Dude was the first Euro to be taken with the first overall pick in the NHL entry draft. He played for the Quebec Nordiques, Toronto Maple Leafs and lastly the Vancouver Canucks. I’m sure that E-ve is going to miss her secret bf.

It’s the middle of the week and that means that I have 2 days off coming up. I’m a lucky guy. And I know it.

That’s it for now.

Like wham!
