Good morning lads and lasses.
I hope that everyone is having a good Sunday after having a good Saturday.
Smiles and hopes of a great day off to E-ve. It’s a well deserved day of not serving tables.
I was remembering college this morning, I don’t know why, and I remembered how things went whenever I was brain blocked. We had a lot of writing assignments and one day when nothing would come out in the class session I just started writing what was in my head and then hit print.
In west Philadelphia born and raised,
on the play ground is where I spent most of my days,
chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin’ all cool and all,
shooting some bball outside of the school,
when a couple of guys that were up to no good,
started makin’ trouble in my neighbourhood,
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared,
she said you’re moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air.
The other reason that I may have that little ditty in my head is that E-ve was singing it the other day.
So far the work day has started busier than normal. Maybe it’s the upcoming change in season, but people have been coming in more often.
Right now the computer is playing the new Jason Shwartzman show from HBO and the HDTV is rocking the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets vs. The Patriots.
Best wishes to E-ve’s mum as she has a rest and feel better day.
Wishes for a happy Eed to all of our Muslim friends today. I hope that everyone enjoys their time with friends and family on this special day.
I think it’s time to get focused so we’ll call it a day here… but as always, there’s a strong chance that somewhere there will be something to read.
