Sunday Morning Musings, Scatter Brain Edition

Happy Day folks.

Welcome to Sunday, I hope that everyone has found themselves well.

It was the first Hockey Night In Canada broadcast last night. And the boys in the booth didn’t disappoint. I’m not sure how Kevin Weekes is going to fit in over the full season but it could be interesting. If nothing else it is pretty cool to see an Afro-Canadian talking hockey on the most prestigious broadcast in the business.

Excited more and more as the days pass until Thursday and the new bed delivery.

High fives to E-ve who is not sick, she is just over full of awesome.

We’re already rocking the NFL football at work with the NY Jets against the Tennessee Titans. The Jets are rocking the house with a 14 to 0 lead in the first quarter. My only quandary is why the Jets are wearing navy and yellow and not green and white.

My mind won’t sit still long enough to write anything down. I’ve been talking baseball, hockey, movies, football, basketball, TV and all kinds of things.

I stopped and got Starbucks for myself and the dude that I’m working with as a treat this morning. It was fun to watch him try to sweeten his iced Americano to his very sugary taste.

It’s a muggy day here in the city with threats of rain so I’ve got my rain coat in my bag.

Boo to the street car today for short turning at Spadina. I had a quick walk to the St. Andrew subway station and then I was on my way to work.

I can’t wait for tomorrow night. It’s another packed night of Prime Time TV and Monday Night Football.

I know that this has been a short check in, but it’s time to say good-bye, adios and see you later.

Like wham!
