Welcome to Saturday my friends.
Here I am at work rocking the blogosphere and watching the new NBC show Community on the computer beside me. So far it looks promising. I’ll get back to you on that one.
So sorry about not blogging yesterday I had a huge day of NHL 2K9 on the PS2, grocery store time and E-ve time.
In other news… the need to purchase a new bed type thing is closer and closer after a slice was found in my current air filled mattress. Bah… things will take care of themselves for sure.
Happy birthday to a friend in Ottawa. Have a great day and party as hard as desired.
Update: Community is pretty funny.
High fives to everyone because everyone loves a high five.
Thank you to E-ve for a great dinner of fish and hash browns and taquitos. I lurve all of those things. I also side with E-ve on the sour cream or ranch dressing debate when it comes to the taquitos. Ranch is the better choice.
There is joy and hope in the Toronto Maple Leafs nation today as the team has acquired forward Phil Kessel from the Boston Bruins. I’m not sure how it’s going to work out, Kessel won’t play until at least November as he rehabs from shoulder surgery… so it’s a wait and see deal I suppose.
The Thursday shopping was a success by measurement of expectations. I picked up Point Break which was the original goal and also found Foolproof, which I had been looking for. Add to that Southland Tales and NUMB3RS season 1 for the DVD player and I should be busy for a while. Or not… to be honest we’ve already watched Point Break, Southland Tales and the first 4 episodes of NUMB3RS.
Here’s something awesome: The Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart is now available on demand with my cable package. So even if I miss some of the funny I can tune in and catch it later.
Hilarious blast from the past this morning as I got to work and needed to find a YouTube video to make my brain calm down. I had a song stuck in my head, which happens all the time, and needed to hear the whole thing. The song though is one that I haven’t heard for a very long time. Do you remember Gob? Because that’s what I was hearing in my head. The best part about finding the video on YouTube was that the music video is a Zombie flick! There are Zombie soccer players and Zombie cheerleaders. What’s not to love?
Thumbs down to the Toronto Raptors website as they are making it very hard for me to try and find tickets for the upcoming season. Heath and I have big plans, and I want them to be as easy to make as possible.
Hopes for good customers, big money and free lunch to E-ve today!
I think that’s a wrap for now. Check us out on Twitter and the MySpace to see if there’s anything else I wanna say later.
Like wham!
