Oh hai!
I have no idea where that greeting got its start, but I’m seeing it everywhere now.
Big high fives to E-ve, have a great day at school!
Big news!!! Jake’s gonna come visit*.
*if flights and days off and everything line up.
It was a huge night in primetime last night. I don’t know where to start. The premiere of House was maybe the most dramatic and deep episode that I’ve ever seen of the show. The 2 hours wasn’t too long and the character changes and introductions were great. Job well done to the actress that played Matt Damon’s girlfriend in the first 2 Bourne movies. There were moments where it felt like One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest with patient unrest and others where it felt like a doomed love story and others where you wanted to smile for hope and good in the world. This, my friends, is what art is supposed to do… even if it is just a TV show.
Heroes was on next and is still leaving something to be desired. I think that it really just is a fall from grace after coming up with something that was fun to watch and well written with all of the intertwining storylines for the first and second seasons. I do still hope that the show picks up in excitement and watchability because I’m pretty sure I’m going to keep watching it.
The last stop on my marathon night was The Big Bang Theory. I was sleepy when it started and thankful that it was only a half hour episode because I really needed to sleep. But the show was funny, the beards and long hair on the guys (Sheldon excluded) at the start of the show kind of reminded me of me. Penny was looking good as Penny and there were jokes and laughs and heart included. Not a bad way to start the season… we’ll have to see where they take it from here.
Today is How I Met Your Mother day thanks to the wonders of the internet!
Also last night my Montreal Canadiens took on the Pittsburgh Penguins in NHL preseason action. The Habs pulled out a win against Sid and the Pens in front of the home crowd and I love it. The new additions to the team were in on the action and if they can keep this up I will be happy to watch them all season long. Go Habs Go!
Shout out to George Stroumboulopoulos for being a great big Montreal Canadiens fan!
I love the nickname Kung Fu Panda for San Francisco Giants 3rd baseman Pablo Sandoval. He’s a huge dude with a belly to match and the fans love him.
Yesterday I was a lucky, lucky boy as I got to see the new Superman/ Batman flick. I don’t wanna ruin anything… but I will be watching it again, and again after that.
E-ve just told me that Kevin Smith will be in Toronto on Thursday!!! Thank you E-ve!!!
I think it’s time to sign off for now. Have a great day folks, and if you’re only here this one day a week… We’ll see you next Tuesday.
Like wham!
