Good morning boys and girls and welcome to your Saturday.
The sun is shining and it’s a brisk -26 degrees with the wind chill factored in.
Had yesterday off, didn’t do a whole lot. I did some secret baking though. I can taste the chocolaty goodness now and I haven’t even tried any of it yet.
In the world outside of my apartment there was a bunch going on though as far as I can gather.
-Tiger Woods lost in Round 2 of the World Match Play Championship ending his come back week early.
-Japanese retailers have pulled the BlackBerry Bold from shelves after battery overheating issues.
-The Toronto Blue Jays won their 2nd game in a row at Spring Training giving them a 2-1 record so far.
-Rumour is that a Canadian dude named James Preston Rogers from Brampton, ON is in the running to play the title character in Kenneth Branagh’s THOR! I have no idea who this guy is, but I am excited by Thor news.
-We’re officially only a week away from The Watchmen!
-President Obama says all American combat troops will be out of Iraq by August 31, 2010
-President Obama watched his hometown Chicago Bulls get blown out by the Washington Wizards Friday night.
-Only 4 more sleeps until NHL Trade Deadline Day on every Canadian Sports Network.
-I watched Justice League the Series DVD yesterday, good times. No Green Arrow though, wtf?
-Reports say Tom Brady has married gf Gisele Bundchen. Good for them. Maybe they’ll make cute babies like he did with Bridget Moynahan.
-In Toronto a bunch of people have been shot lately.
-Police have made an arrest in the TTC bus shooting from a few days ago.
In all reality I have no idea what’s going on. I kind of shut everything out yesterday. And to be honest, it was nice. I Twittered, Facebooked and played some video games. I was going to read some Green Arrow, but I never got around to it.
I’ve been sitting here for over an hour watching sports highlights at work and surfing numerous websites looking for something good to write. I’m sorry because I don’t think that I did. My bad.
