Sunday Morning Musings

Good morning all,

I write to you again this morning from work. But with a much better start to the day.

I woke up this morning with time to spare. And the best part was that I wasn’t tired at all. I turned on the TV well knowing what was going to be on, and thoroughly enjoyed Batman: The Brave and The Bold, Wolverine and the X-Men and part of The Spectacular Spider-Man before it was time to come to work.

And now, here I am at work with the 24 hour news channel on in the background and no cartoons to be seen for the rest of the day. Sigh.

The weather is still sunny and warm-ish outside, except for the wind. There was some ice on the sidewalk outside my place this morning from last night’s temperature dip, but it was to be expected after a 7 degree day yesterday.

Tonight the Grammy’s are on TV and while I haven’t decided if I’m going to be watching them or not I’m sure that I will be checking all kinds of info today on the show and watching clips and reviews tomorrow on my surprise day off.

I have high hopes for the country and pop categories. I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, but that’s where my heart lies.

I’d love to see Leona Lewis, Death Cab for Cutie, Kings if Leon, Jason Mraz, Lady Gaga, Josh Groban, Brad Paisley and Sugarland win among others.

And to be honest I’ve spent the last half hour Youtubing nominees and listening and watching videos. I love music. I admit it, I’m not hiding it, and I’m not sure it was ever a secret. I just love it, listening, singing everything music.
